At the tender age of 7, American Fashion Designer, LaDaesha Elliott began her career as a designer by using her mother’s sheets and hand sewing needles to create clothing for her dolls. As her fascination with constructing garments grew, she received her first sewing machine at the age of 11 in order to learn the proper steps of developing garments. Today, LaDaesha is a well- rounded artist skilled in different design mediums. She holds an MA in Fashion Design from Savannah College of Arts and Design, BS in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Textiles From North Carolina Central University as well as an AA in Fashion Design from Bauder College. As a mother of a two- year-old son, Isaiah White, LaDaesha juggles motherhood with pursing her fashion career. The Artist aesthetic is summed up in three words: Edgy, Unorthodox and Afro-Futuristic. The focus of the brand is on quality textiles, fabric details, and experimental pattern making; putting an unusual spin on classic silhouettes.
